Transforming information into strategic business value.

Sui Generis Technologies helps organisations govern their information, configure the technology they already pay for, automate the approvals that slow them down, and build the systems packaged software cannot fit.

ORG/001 The firm

We are a consulting firm that also builds.

Most problems clients bring us are not one discipline. An approval takes six days because the policy is unclear, the documents are scattered, and the system that could route them was never configured. We hold all three conversations at once — then deliver the fix.

Mission

To empower organisations with innovative, secure and intelligent technology solutions that simplify business processes, strengthen information governance and accelerate sustainable growth.

Vision

To become Africa's most trusted provider of enterprise information solutions, digital transformation services, Microsoft technologies and business automation, delivering world-class innovations that transform the way organisations work.

ORG/002 Why us

What clients say makes the difference.

Not a list of adjectives — the specific things that come up when a client explains why they stayed.

01

Enterprise focus, SME pricing

The governance, audit trails and access control usually reserved for large institutions, delivered at a scale a growing business can afford.

02

Microsoft 365 specialists

Tenant design, Entra ID, Intune, Purview and Defender configured deliberately — not left on defaults.

03

Information management expertise

We come from records and information practice, so we fix how documents are classified and retained, not just where they are stored.

04

Automation that removes real steps

We measure a workflow before and after. If the approval still takes six days, we have not finished.

05

Software built to your process

SignShevly Pro, DB BOS and Shevy Kalku exist because off-the-shelf tools did not fit. Yours can be built the same way.

06

Secure and scalable by design

Role-based access, encryption, backup and recovery are part of the build, never a later phase.

ORG/FAQ Questions

Asked before you call.

We are a technology consulting firm. We advise on how an organisation manages its information, configure and support Microsoft 365, build custom software and portals where packaged tools do not fit, automate approval processes, and provide cloud, security and managed IT services.

Both. A large share of our work is with organisations of ten to a hundred staff. The engagement is scoped smaller, not delivered to a lower standard.

With a discovery session at no cost. We ask what is not working, look at how the process runs today, and tell you what we would do first. If that turns into a proposal it is scoped, phased and priced in writing.

Consulting and project work is quoted by phase against a written scope. Managed IT and support are a fixed monthly fee against agreed response times. Products are licensed per user or per deployment. There are no hourly surprises.

You do, unless the engagement agreement says otherwise. You receive the source code, deployment guide, administrator manual and user manual, and you are free to maintain it yourself or through another firm.

A discovery session costs nothing. We will look at how your information, systems and approvals work today, and show you what can be improved first.
