Read moreCloud adoption, migration, backup, disaster recovery and hybrid infrastructure planned around cost, connectivity and what your business can afford to lose.
Cloud is not automatically cheaper, and in a market where connectivity varies it is not automatically more available either. We work out which workloads genuinely belong in the cloud, which should stay on a local server, and what the recovery plan is when either fails.
We assess each workload on four questions: what it costs to run where it is, how much bandwidth it needs, what happens when the link drops, and who is legally allowed to hold the data. The answers usually produce a hybrid design rather than a wholesale move.
Two numbers drive every recovery design: how much data you can afford to lose, and how long you can afford to be down. We agree those with your management team first, then build backup that meets them — with restores tested on a schedule, because an untested backup is only a hope.
Migrations are planned in waves with a rollback position at every stage. Users move in groups, mailboxes and files are synchronised before cutover, and there is a named person to call on the first morning back.
Individually or as one programme, depending on where you are starting from.
Right-sized subscriptions and removed duplication replace surprise renewals and unassigned seats.
You know how long a restore takes because it has been done, not because a datasheet claims it.
Staff can work through a power failure, a flood or a road closure because the systems are not tied to one building.
Latency-sensitive or bandwidth-heavy systems stay local; everything else moves. No ideology either way.
Partially. We design hybrid: keep the systems that must run during an outage on a local server with local data, and move email, documents and collaboration to the cloud where a phone tether is enough to keep working.
Quarterly at minimum, and after any significant change. We include scheduled restore tests with a written result in our managed plans.
Yes. We audit permissions first, because a file server usually has fifteen years of accumulated access nobody has reviewed. Migrating that as-is imports the problem.
